About the Illustrator
Nathan Voss
Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Nathan has been drawing all of his life. Nathan's love of books started early as his parents would take him to the library every week to find new stories (early Garfield comics were a particular favorite). Over time, he stuck with drawing and illustration, eventually earning a degree in visual communication and design from the University of Nebraska, Kearney.
Nathan has been a professional designer and illustrator since 2001, working in Omaha, Nebraska. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Design at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha. Some of Nathan's work can be found in HOW and STEP Inside Design magazines, the book Fingerprint: The Art of Using Hand-Made Elements in Graphic Design, and around the web.
The Legend of Lil’ Red is Nathan's first children's book.
